Prince William Engagement: The Royal Wedding Cakes

By Jennifer Savor the Thyme |

Prince William is Engaged and we are all talking royal engagement and royal wedding food and cakes in The Family Kitchen. I did some research into Royal Wedding Cakes of the past including the wedding cakes from the weddings of Princess Diana, Prince Andrew and Queen Elizabeth….

Prince Andrew and Princess Fergie toasted over this multi-tiered treat (above) in 1986.

Queen Elizabeth was married 1947 to Prince Philip and they toasted the wedding over this very ornate round creation.

I recall getting up early in 1981 for the Wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana . They celebrated with this five-tier beauty.

What do you think Princes William and Princess Kate’s cake will look like?

I think after the wedding, they should snack on these Orange Cranberry Scones for Breakfast with Tea.
