Qualities of the New Zodiac Sign: Ophiuchus

By Angie McGowan |

I woke up today to find out that I had a different zodiac sign than I previously thought. Because of the Earth’s gravitational pull, it makes the Earth wobble a little on it’s axis. This means the original zodiac calender is about 1 month off. Not everyone has a new zodiac sign, but most of us do. And to top it all off, there is even a new zodiac sign, Ophiuchus. It is a 13th sign that was discarded way back when, so there would be just 12 signs. But with the new calender, it has been included again. The dates for this new sign are Nov. 29-Dec. 17.

I have listed here the qualities for the new astrological sign, Ophiuchus.

• interpreter of dreams, premonitions
• attracts good luck
• serpent holder
• lofty ideals
• a seeker of peace and harmony
• doctor of medicine or science
• to add, increase, join or gather together
• poetical, inventive nature, expanding
• seeks higher education
• overseer, supervisor of work
• fame – either grand or completely misunderstood
• longevity, aspirations of healing the ills of man
• architect, builder, reaches for the stars
• tax assessor or levys taxes
• astrological talents, intuitive
• large family indicated, but apt to be separated from them when young
• the number twelve holds great significance
• foresight to benefit from hard times
• has secret enemies in family or close associations
• many jealous of this subject
• notable father, apple of father’s eye when young
• high position in life expected [depending on aspects] highest fame and legend comes after death however
• feelings of granular, wise,
• likes to wear clothing of vibrant colors
• receives the favor of those in charge

Looking at all these qualities, I believe a person that has this zodiac sign would be a real foodie, someone that has a love affair with really good food. Pictured above is a Spaghetti and Mozzerella Stuffed Meatball dinner that any Ophiuchus would enjoy. For dessert, I think only the best would do. For me, that would be my new favorite, Mississippi Mud Bars.

And Here are the new Astrological dates:

Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16

Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11

Pisces: March 11-April 18

Aries: April 18-May 13

Taurus: May 13-June 21

Gemini: June 21-July 20

Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10

Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16

Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30

Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23

Scorpio: Nov. 23-29

Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17 *Discarded originally by the Babylonians because they wanted 12 signs per year

OK so what am I or others for that matter since signs overlap on the ending date does that mean we can choose? Or does it mean at a certain time of day we are one and then later in the day we are the other? This is nuts as the new sign has nothing to do with who I am or anything. I do not fit it at all. I am who I am and this will not change that.

we do not have 13 months just 12 so this is not a true zodiac to follow. I am a sagi and proud to be so. I will not acceot this, since it is incorrect to do so.
