If you follow my food blog, you already know that I am a Nutella-holic. I have an entire category devoted to the choco-hazelnutty goodness that is Nutella. It has even given way to me launching an entirely separate eye-candy website which showcases mouth watering photographs of recipes created with my beloved Nutella, all submitted from Nutella-holics around the world.
I’ve been enjoying Nutella since I was a tween-ager in Italy and relish creating new recipes with it. My latest creation is a quick and easy breakfast treat. A Nutella turnover and it couldn’t be easier! If you’re anything like me, you’ll have everything you need in your pantry/freezer.
What you’ll need: powdered sugar, milk, egg, Nutella and Puff Pastry Sheets. That’s it, 5 simple ingredients. I always keep Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheets in my freezer. They come in oh so handy when I want to create a last minute dessert, be it a fruit turnover, a napoleon, etc. Or if I’m making an appetizer or a full on meal, they’re especially great for pot pies ; ) They’re just handy to have on hand.
