It seems everything red, white, and blue is sweet. You’ve got strawberries and blueberries, jello, and cupcakes. So, our family set out to create something savory that will compliment our Memorial Day table is style. This recipe is as easy as it is delicious. With everyone-loves-em flavors, you really can’t go wrong with the combination.
- 1 (8 ounce) package pasta
- 1/2 cup roasted or sundried tomatoes
- 1/2 cup artichoke hearts
- 1/4 cup kalamata olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup light olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
- 1 packet Zesty Italian dressing mix
In a large bowl, toss together the pasta, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and olives. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir together until well mixed, then toss over pasta. Serve immediately.
Ideal paired with grilled chicken, shrimp, or fried chicken.
