Ree Drummond and Bobby Flay in a Thanksgiving Showdown – The Results

By Jennifer Savor the Thyme |

Like most of America, we love The Pioneer Woman. Ree Drummond is a talented woman who competed against Bobby Flay last week in a Thanksgiving themed Throwdown with Bobby Flay on the Food Network.

Did you watch? I missed the first airing however, I was able to watch a repeat of the ultimate Thanksgiving showdown this weekend.  In case you have not heard, the winner was …

The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond!  She made traditional dishes and impressed everyone although Bobby Flay’s Pumpkin Bread was a huge hit.

In fact, there was so much demand for Bobby Flay’s Pumpkin Bread Pudding that he has decided to share the recipe with everyone.

I am certainly hoping for another throwdown -  may I suggest for most romantic Valentine’s Day meal?

I really want the recipe for the first dessert he tried and decided against for the bread pudding. It was Buttermilk Cream(or custard- he used both names). It was with a chocolate sauce. I had to tape to get the name, couldn’t remember it from the first time.

Excellent show though. Watching late at night I wanted the turkey meal THEN, like RIGHT NOW! The both were so good.

Love his shows anyway, but particularly this one.
