We had our first heat wave in the Northeast last week. It felt like mid-August in early June and I wasn’t exactly thrilled with it. I wasn’t yet into hot weather mode and hadn’t completely switched over to my warm weather menus. One afternoon my daughter and I were playing outside and got very hot. We were guzzling water like mad, but after we came in we were in the mood for something a little sweet and refreshing. I decided to whip up a delicious spritzer using what was already in our fridge. This refreshing drink was both tasty and healthy, just the thing to cool us down on a hot summers day.
Refreshing Pomegranate Lemonade Spritzer

1/2 cup fresh homemade lemonade, or store-bought
