Romantic Dinner Ideas: Plan A Special Night at Home!
Do you and your partner have time for romantic meals? As my husband and I get ready to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, we’re thinking of ways to mark the occasion. We were lucky enough to have a new baby by the time our 1st anniversary rolled around. It was a huge blessing — a blessing that cried through the entire meal leaving us with cold food that we weren’t even able to eat together. Guess what? This year we’ve got another newborn, but at least we know what to expect! Needless to say, we’ll be eating at home, but we want it to be special too.
The clever, talented, and culinarily gifted readers over on food52 have been sharing ideas for great, romantic dinner ideas. Head over there for a mouth-watering thread, and tons of delicious creations that you can make together — I’m keeping an eye out for something that reheats easily!

I love to cook, but sometimes to make it feel extra special (and give myself a break from cooking and cleaning- i hate to clean!) we order out. There are plenty of nice to regular restuarants that you can call in and order from. Many have menues in the phone book and online. After we put our daughter to bed, we pop in a movie and dive into some freshly chopped fruit/berries compliments of the preprepared fruit in the fresh produce ile.
