Bacon truly does make everything better and the Royals think so too. Prince Harry is throwing his older brother and new sister in law the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge {Wills & Kate} an after after Royal Wedding Party for approximately 300 of their closest friends. It’s said for those that last until 6:00 am they’ll be served a Survivor’s Breakfast consisting of among other items, Bacon Butties. What is a bacon butty you ask?

It’s a bacon sandwich that’s made from crispy bacon that’s been cooked in butter and served between thick white bread. And can be accompanied with brown sauce {HP Steak Sauce or Worcestershire Sauce}.

You can find a RECIPE HERE

Great  news for the party goers, it’s even rumored to cure a  hangover

The important thing to note about Bacon Butties is they can’t be made with just any old bacon – and especially can’t be made with what the Brits call “Streaky” bacon – or what us Americans would simply call “bacon”.

British bacon is from a completely different part of the pig, and tastes different too. The closest I’ve come to is homemade Canadian bacon.

But if you want to taste this for real, order some bacon rashers from http://www.foodireland.com.

You might think $7 for half a pound of bacon is a bit steep… until you taste it.
