Sassy Water: Healthy, Refreshing & Simple

I have a this lovely friend.  Everytime we go over to her house, my kids ask for a drink of water.  And, it’s not because they are thirsty.  It’s because this pal of mine always has a ready supply of water cold, refreshing “sassy water” waiting for them in the fridge.  For some people, sassy water is part of a diet.  For my pal, it’s just a flavorful, healthy way to enjoy a glass of water.  Her version doesn’t take much work.  It’s just a special mix of a few essential oils, a pitcherful of water, and that’s it.  You’d think most kids would be turned off by the lack of sugar and color, but my kids adore it.  I do, too.  In fact, last time I visited her, I insisted she share the magic formula with me, so I could share it with you.  We all need bucketfull’s of sassy water waiting to refresh us in our fridge.  That’s just the way life should be. 

Sassy Water Mix
3 drops lemon essential oil
2 drop grapefruit essential oil
1 drop ginger essential oil
1 drop peppermint essential oil
1 drop cinnamon essential oil
Place drops of each essential oil into a gallon of cold water.  Shake well to mix the flavors together.
