Have I ever shared my obsession with avocados? I love them any which way I can get them. They’re really versatile and wonderful in so many more ways than just guacamole (not that that isn’t scrump-dilly-icious because it is) there are just other ways to enjoy these creamy dreamy fruits. Including making it into a bowl that’s perfect for salad dressing! I saw this idea on the Kitchn the other day and loved it. No more wilted salad or serving it on the side before you’re ready to eat it. Simply twist open an avocado and use it as your “bowl”. Easy peasy.
The avocado I used was very large so I only needed half for this salad. If yours are smaller feel free to use more.
What you’ll need:
Salad of choice
avocado – halved and removed from skin
salad dressing of choice
What to do:
Plate your salad as desired.
Pour salad dressing into avocado “bowl”.
