Increasingly chilly winds and dwindling leaves are signs that it’s time to start planning my Thanksgiving feast. As a food blogger, Thanksgiving is a pretty big deal and I do not want to disappoint my guests. So yesterday, I cranked the oven and got started on a little recipe testing. First up, perfecting the roasted Brussels sprout.
Brussels sprouts seemed like a great place to start since I’m aiming for a table full of simple and healthy sides. Of course, I’m also after great flavor. Luckily, these roasted Brussels sprouts with Old Bay seasoning have it all. They’re roasted to tender, crisp-edged perfection and sprinkled liberally with savory Old Bay and lots of black pepper, making for a delicious, if slightly addictive, bite.
