Slow Melt Arnold Palmer

An Arnold Palmer is half lemonade, half iced tea, and 100 percent delicious. Every time I have one I think of my 3 wonderful girlfriends. We met when our girls (now closing in on 7 years) were just infants and we would get together once a week for baby music class and Arnold Palmers. As our girls got older it became weekly playdates at the park with our signature drink, then when our girls went off to preschool it turned into a weekly ladies lunch. We would sit and talk and laugh and sip our Arnold Palmers, so this recipe is dedicated to you, Amy, Jen, and Phyllis. Love you three so much and I don’t know how I would have survived motherhood without you!

Slow Melt Arnold Palmer

1 pitcher of iced tea

1 pitcher of lemonade

4 ice cube trays

Pour the lemonade into the ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours. Pour the tea into a glass up to the 2/3 mark. Fill with lemonade ice cubes until just below the top. Stir with a straw and sip to your hearts content. Refill with tea as needed.
