Smurfs Village: Greedy Smurf's Baking Game

By Ole & Shaina Olmanson |

A product of the ’80s, I grew up with the Smurfs. Those little blue men (and a handful of women) occupied my daily life, living in stuffed form on my bed and in animated bliss on the TV screen. The sometimes controversial show was a huge hit with my generation, and we all gathered around to watch Smurfs get a smurf in the smurf, and now the Smurfs are blowing up the big screen as of this past Friday.

Recently, a new app, Smurf Village, became available in the iTunes store that features those loveable blue guys in a scene that rivals Farmville, growing crops making muffins and anything else they need to keep Smurfville running.

Fans of the smurfs are thrilled. They can immerse themselves in Smurf culture like never before with a movie night followed with Smurf-alicious cupcake and a quick game of Smurf Village, where your Smurfs can bake their own baked goods and eat them right before your eyes.

Are you excited to see the new Smurfs film?

I may be nearly 32 years old, but I still love the Smurfs. They are part of my childhood, and I am definitely excited for the film. I’m going to drag my Brit husband to it, and he’s probably going to want to submit me for mental health evaluation after, but hey ho! I have the Smurfs Village app on my phone, and I kinda love it.
