Snow Cones in a bag with Hefty

By Kelsey Banfield |

Sno Cones

My daughter recently came to love the snow cone. What’s not to like? I agree, they are fun, icy and refreshing. The only problem I have with them is that they are so incredibly messy. What I chose to do on a recent afternoon was serve the snow cone in a bag instead of a cone. So, in a way it as a snow bag. I simply added the crushed iced, flavored syrup and handed the kids a spoon. It was much less messy and more portable. Next time I might take the in the cooler to the beach!

Snow Cones in a Bag

1 finely crushed ice

2 to 3 tablespoons flavored syrup

1. Combine the ingredients in a Hefty bag and serve.

These are perfect for the hot summer we have been having in the Midwest – even better – I can have the small people help me make them. Now THAT is good.
