Snow Ice Cream Recipes

Looking for a quick and easy recipe that explains how to make snow ice cream? Many parts of the country have had large amounts of snowfall over the past few days. Even in many parts of the south, where snowfall is seldom seen, lots of snow has fallen, shutting down schools. So if you have the kids at home, and they’re anxious to do something, make snow ice cream with them. It’s a fun project for the whole family and will help entertain your kids, at least for a little while.

When you make your snow ice cream, it’s best to leave out a bowl to catch freshly fallen snow. But if there’s a ton of snow outside your home, and it’s currently not snowing, just go scoop up some fresh, clean snow. My favorite way is to use sweetened condensed milk and snow. With this recipe you’ll take:

1 – 14 ox can of sweetened condensed milk
8 cups fresh clean snow
2 teaspoons vanilla, or 1 teaspoon of any other extract you have on hand like orange, lemon, or almond

Directions: Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix until smooth.

If your fresh out of condensed sweetened milk, just use milk and sugar as in this recipe:

    8 cups fresh clean snow
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract or 1 teaspoon of any other extract you have on hand like orange, lemon, or almond

Directions: Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix until smooth.
