I’m not talking about the 4th of July kind of sparkly, I’m talking the adult sparkling wine variety that I keep my cabinet stocked with. I may be known among my girlfriends to always have a bottle of bubbly on hand and ready to open and serve as they walk in the door. And now I’ve found these great recipes to serve the sparkly stuff for dessert. This definitely calls for a ladies night, especially in the heat of the summer. What’s really cool is that I can make some of these with sparkling juice so the small set doesn’t feel left out. Question is, which one should I serve?
Sparkling Wine Gelee 1 of 6It looks like a glass of champagne, but it's actually a set gelatin made with sparkling wine. This one can be made with sparkling juice to make the kids happy.

Sgroppinos: An Italian Frozen Cocktail 3 of 6For this treat you take a ball of frozen lemon sorbet and pour a bit of vodka and limoncello and finish off with prosecco. I could pull of a virgin version by using lemonade with sparkling white grape juice poured over the sorbet.
