Starfish S'moresAngie McGowan
One of the first things I like to do before answering emails and working on my blog in the morning is to check out all the new creations on websites like Tastespotting and Foodgawker. Among all the beautiful things this morning, I found these cute little critters, Starfish S’mores at Hungry Happenings. Are they not the cutest? They are just too cute for a summer treat, or a summer party. And they look easy to do too. It’s a homemade marshmallow, covered in chocolate and then dipped in graham cracker crumbs. You can find all the step by step instructions with photos here.
Hungry Happenings has lots of other creative goodies to try too. Beth Klosterboer, the talent behind the blog, has worked as a chocolatier and event planner for over 20 years. While she is talented with all types of events and holidays, her favorite holiday is Halloween. She even has a book, Hungry Halloween full of lots of delicious creations available at Amazon through this link.
