There is nothing like a glass of cool, crisp, fruity sangria on a hot summer day. It just screams summer doesn’t it?
I love to make a quick no-fuss sangria by combining a few seasonal fruits with a bottle of white wine and a few splashes of orange-flavored liquor like Cointreau or Grand Marnier. Sangria can really be as simple or as “complicated” as you want it to be…it’s really up to your taste or time. It’s fun to enjoy at home, poolside or in your backyard…as well as the perfect cocktail to bring to a picnic or barbecue. I find that most people who aren’t big wine fans, still enjoy a fruity glass of sangria, so it’s always a crowd-pleaser.
And don’t forget to snack on the leftover fruit.
