Stay Hydrated with Easy Homemade Flavored Water


Staying hydrated is extremely important. We all know this but sometimes (at least for me) it’s hard to get those daily recommended doses in. I typically drink water with most of my meals so I’m covered there. To keep me drinking water in between meals I use this quick and easy trick. I made homemade flavored water. It takes less than 5 minutes (and that’s if you cut slowly) and is so much better for you than any flavored water you can purchase in the store. I put the pitcher into my fridge and sip on it throughout the day. Best part, I can refresh the water at least one additional time. It’s great for my body and my state of mind.

This is my favorite flavor combination but feel free to swap it out to your tastes. Lemons would be a fantastic addition.

Homemade Flavored Water
What you’ll need:
1/2 gallon water
1 orange – sliced
1 seedless cucumber – sliced
1 lime – sliced


What to do:
1. Place everything into a container. Place in refrigerator to keep chilled.
