Stay Hydrated With Minty Ice Cubes

To keep myself hydrated during the days when I’m at home all day I look for creative ways to keep me wanting to drink water. I know I NEED to drink water, but  needing and wanting to are two different things. To help keep me motivated I like to add natural flavors to the water. A great way to keep my drink cold and add flavor is to make flavored ice cubes. I have fresh mint still growing in my garden and I use it in everything I possibly can, including in ice cubes.


I’ve taken my Cool Beans ice cube tray and added a few leaves of fresh mint to each. Pop it into the freezer and a few hours later, voila I have minty ice cubes  ready for me. I like to try to make a fresh tray at night and pop it into the freezer before I head to bed so that it’s ready in the morning.

If you don’t have a cool beans tray you can use a traditional ice cube tray. These are also great to make when you’re entertaining. They’re not only delicious they make a beautiful presentation.
