Texas Independence Day: Don't Mess With Texas Chili Recipes!

Texas ChiliIf there is one food Texas is known for it is Chili. In fact, Chili con carne is the official dish of the whole state. I live in the Northeast and hear about Texas chili all the time! I can’t say I make an absolutely perfect rendition of it — I am not from Texas after all — but I sure do try my best! There are many ways to make chili and I have a whole round-up of Chili recipes for you. Now, I know that authentic chili recipes do not include beans, but some of the vegetarian chili recipes below do. I hope you will forgive me for that. If you are a Texan reading this I encourage you to share your own recipe variations. The more chili the better. Now, off to make a batch to celebration Texas Independence Day!
