By Kelsey Banfield |

Texas ChiliIf there is one food Texas is known for it is Chili. In fact, Chili con carne is the official dish of the whole state. I live in the Northeast and hear about Texas chili all the time! I can’t say I make an absolutely perfect rendition of it — I am not from Texas after all — but I sure do try my best! There are many ways to make chili and I have a whole round-up of Chili recipes for you. If you are a Texan reading this I encourage you to share your own recipe variations. The more chili the better. Now, off to make a batch to celebration Texas Independence Day!
