One favorite- while well let me whittle it down to 2. My super fudgy triple chocolate brownies, made with Belgian cocoa block, very dark cocoa powder and chocolate chips, and my flourless chocolate truffle cake, with over a pound of chocolate in it, and praline paste! It never fails to fill the bill.

I would LOVE that book! Although I would have to share it with my mother, as she loves chocolate even more than I do. It’s hard to name my favorite chocolate receipe, although it may be the Mocha Truffles that we made growing up in our house. The center is full of gooey dark chocolate and espresso, covered in another layer of either dark or milk chocolate and drizzled with a decoration suitable for the season. These treats have been a family secret, and we made them for holidays and special events all through childhood.

Just in case you didn’t know, you can walk into and Godiva store and sign up for their email list; in return you will get 1 free piece of chocolate of your choice each month!

My favorite chocolate recipe is an easy chocolate bundt cake –it’s so amazing!

1 (18.25 ounce) package dark chocolate cake mix
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
    3 eggs
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1/2 cup coffee
    2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, eggs, oil and coffee liqueur. Beat until ingredients are well blended. Fold in chocolate chips. Batter will be thick. Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly tapped. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then turn out and cool completely on wire rack.
I spray my pan with pam and then use hot cocoa mix instead of flour—I don’t like the look flour gives a chocolate cake—-wait exactly 10 minutes –wait longer and cake will stick!

I like to serve the cake warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream–in the summer we add a few raspberries on top of the vanilla ice cream.
