The Best Doughnuts in America

Doughnuts are one of those timeless sweet treats that never goes out of fashion. Cupcakes, little pies and cake pops all may come and go, but it’s the doughnut that most Americans hold nearest and dearest to their hearts. And we all have our favorites. Mine is just a simple fresh glazed, my husband’s is chocolate covered, and of course my son’s is chocolate covered with lots of colorful sprinkles. And my personal favorite doughnut shop is Krispy Kreme. Our friends over at the Daily Meal have compiled a list of some of the best doughnut shops in the country.

Here are 5 amazing doughnuts from some of the best doughnut shops around the country from their list.
