Say what you want about yo’ grandmamas recipe, this simple recipe for homemade bleu cheese  dressing is the best you’ll find anywhere. It’s surprisingly simple to pull together, and last in the fridge for up to two weeks. Slather it all over a wedge of Iceberg Lettuce, dip your favorite wings recipes in it, do what you gotta do…just do it! Because you’re simply not going to regret having this recipe live and in your kitchen.

Best Ever Homemade Bleu Cheese Dressing

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup crumbled bleu cheese
  • salt to taste
In a large bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, white vinegar, garlic powder, and sugar until smooth. Use your whisk to beat in the bleu cheese, making sure to break up any large chunks so the dressing is a nice consistency…chunky, but not overly so. Serve immediately, or store in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
