Here’s the thing. Wouldn’t you rather eat out tonight? Wouldn’t you rather scoot your little self into the dimly lit corner of a padded booth? Wouldn’t you rather tuck yourself into a room full of rolicking conversation, with attentive waiters in place to care for your every need? Eating out rocks. The end. I’m a food blogger, and I believe fervently in home cooking, but I’m willing to admit there allure to restaurant dining. It’s social. It’s easy. Better yet, it’s gol’ durned yummy.
If restaurant eating sounds right up your alley tonight, here’s a glorious recipe, snatched from California Pizza Kitchen and delivered straight to you. It’s the most ridiculously simple, delicious, creamy macaroni and cheese recipe ever. It calls for just three ingredients, and it’s simply amazing. If you sit on some pillows and dress your kids up in cumberbunds and bowties, you might just feel like you’re eating in a real restaurant. Enjoy!
- 18 oz. velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 pound fusilli pasta, cooked
In a large pot, melt the cheese and whipping cream together over medium heat. Stir in the pasta. Serve immediately.
