Cheesy Nachos Tacos Shells
Just like the fast food flavored taco shells, only you make ’em at home quick! This is a fun DIY recipe that’ll have your kids thinking it’s cool to be cooking in the kitchen!
1 packet Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix
1 packet cheese powder from a box of Mac & Cheese
1 box Old El Paso Taco Shells
1/2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup water
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together taco seasoning mix and cheese powder. Remove taco shells from the box and place on a baking dish. In a small bowl mix together honey and water. Use a basting brush to place a thin layer of honey-water on the outside (and inside if you want!) of each taco shell. Dredge in taco seasoning mixture. Bake in preheated oven just until shells are crispy and very light golden brown around the edges.
Remove and cool slightly before filling with your favorite ingredients and serving!
