87. Dorie Greenspan
Who: Dorie Greenspan, a mother of one based in New York City
Why we love this blog: Greenspan burnt her parents kitchen down when she was 13, but she’s improved leaps and bounds since. She went on to pen ten cookbooks, win numerous James Beard awards, launch a cookie company with her son, and open two artisanal shops. Chocolates, pastries and all things French appear on this blog, but careful kids, this lady’s a pro. Amateurs may want to start with some of her simpler recipes like roasted rhubarb, low-cal eggplant dip, or scallops with gingered mango salsa.
