76. Picky Palate
Who: Jenny Flake, a mother of three boys living in Orange County, California
Why we love this blog: Flake is right in the trenches with parents who battle picky eaters. Luckily she’s prepared with recipes that can turn even the most ardent of frowns upside down. Picky Palate and The Picky Palate Cookbook both offer recipes your family will straight-up love — and ways to dress up foods they don’t. Flake’s honey-thyme roasted butternut squash works like a charm. Her recipes are also practical: Conscious of parents’ schedules and budget, Picky Palate’s recipes don’t call for crazy ingredients or require unreasonable amounts of time.
