Dinner wouldn’t be nearly as fun without these culinary pioneers to blaze the trail. This year’s list of food blogging mamas, curated with the help of our esteemed panel, includes both internet superstars and virtual unknowns, amateurs and James Beard Award-winning chefs. Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry, but all will make you hungry for more innovative meal ideas. You’ll find no shortage of healthy recipes, genius cooking shortcuts, or quick dinners for those nights when you’re just too tired to spend hours in the kitchen. 77. Recipe Girl
Who: Lori Lange, a mother of one living in California
Why we love this blog: Lange has more than 2,600 recipes listed on her site, meaning that there’s definitely something for everyone, and she does the basics particularly well. Easy-as-pie dishes like her two-ingredient pancakes and skillet chicken Parmesan can be a godsend on days when there aren’t enough hours in the day. If you’re planning a social gathering, Lange has your back there, too, with themed party menus that range from Cuban dinner parties to dishes for a gluten-free Thanksgiving. And if that’s not enough, her first cookbook comes out this April and will feature even more recipes. We’re waiting on pins and needles.
