Top 100 Mom Food Blogs of 2013

Who: Tara O’Brady, mother to two boys, in Ontario, Canada

Why we love this blog: Why we love this blog: O’Brady is equally adept behind a camera as she is behind an apron. She started her blog in 2005, and Seven Spoons has since grown from a hole-in-the-virtual-wall to an online treasure trove of both original recipes and modified versions of dishes by other chefs. O’Brady’s savory selection, such as her Kentucky hot brown and adapted roasted asparagus with toasted breadcrumbs recipes, are flavor forces to be reckoned with, but it’s obvious that O’Brady’s passion is on the sweeter side. Nothing beats Seven Spoons’ spiced apple cider caramels, date squares or walnut cake with apple fig compote. Just try it for yourself.

I found one the greatest BBQ sauces ever at a festival in Fillmore, Ca. The company was called Mickey’s Momma’s BBQ. The real lemon and pineapple makes this BBQ sauce different from the rest and it is truly original. Here is their facebook page. I think it is really worth checking out.
