34. Zoe Bakes
Who: Zoë François, mother of two sons in Minnesota
Why we love this blog: Armed with a pastry background from the Culinary Institute of America, Zoe is on a mission to remind the world just how badass dessert can be. Francois’ treats both look and taste like they came from a pro, but that doesn’t mean that they’re out of reach for a newbie. If you’re just getting started in the baking world, begin with one of Francois’ simpler recipes like her caramel apples or lemon-lime mousse. If you know your way around a bread maker or candy thermometer already, head straight to the big guns. Francois’ dacquoise with peaches and cream is a homerun every time.
