Top 25 Most Searched Recipes

How often do you go online to find a recipe, or inspiration for a recipe? I search online almost everyday to get ideas and inspiration for new recipes. But I’ve always wondered what types of recipes other people are searching for online.

The Daily Meal has put together a list of the top 25 most searched recipes. By using Google Analytics and other search sources, they have come up with the top searched recipe terms over the past year.


  • Chicken Recipe 1 of 25
    Chicken Recipe
    I guess it's no surprise that the most searched recipe is for chicken. It's cheap, can be prepared very healthy, and almost everyone loves it. The most popular searched chicken recipes were chicken salad, baked chicken, chicken pot pie, and fried chicken. Of course my family's favorite chicken recipe are these chicken nuggets shown above.

    Hummus Recipe
    Hummus is a great healthy dip for chips, bread or veggies. It can be made simply with canned chick peas, lemon juice and spices. Making hummus at home saves lots over pre-packeged hummus too. There are lots of different variations. One of our favorites is this red pepper hummus shown above.

    Since bananas seem to be the most popular fruit, it would be no surprise that banana bread recipes are searched very often. And there are a ton of banana bread recipes out there.
