Totino's Pizza Stuffers: A New Favorite After-School Snack

With the start of the school year in full swing, I am focused on getting back into a new routine. My daughter’s school hours are slightly different this year and she is home later in the afternoon than she was last year. And when she comes home, she is absolutely ravenous. All that running around really works up her appetite! I am all too happy to feed her something yummy, but I don’t want to make anything that is too filling lest we ruin dinner.

The other day I picked up a box of Totino’s new Pizza Stuffers. My daughter adores anything pizza flavored and I knew a crust pocket stuffed with warm cheese and zesty sauce would fit the bill. They are easy to handle and a no-mess snack seemed like a great idea for after school. They are also so easy to make, which helps me on days when I am positively frenetic trying to wrap-up work!

Since my daughter is still pretty young, I decided to bake one to see if she liked it. She eagerly gobbled it down and asked for more. I made one more for her – since I’m a good mom like that – and that was just the right amount to hold her over until dinner. The weather is still pretty nice in the Northeast so she ate her Totino’s on the back porch like a picnic! Because the pockets keep the snack nice and contained, I didn’t have to worry about her making a big crummy mess that would require any heavy-duty cleaning on my part. I am pretty sure this outdoor ambience made them even more fun.

In fact, I think these treats are our new favorite after school snack!

This post is brought to you by Totino’s but the opinions expressed are entirely my own.
