Two-Ingredient Chocolate Banana Ice Cream with Hefty Slider Bags

By Ole & Shaina Olmanson |

Do you ever feel like a bowl of chocolate ice cream, but with maybe an added health benefit? You know, a bowl that won’t undo the bike ride you just took, or the workout you sweat through earlier in the day. That bowl is attainable. It can be as easy as dumping it into the food processor.

The result is a smooth soft-serve-style ice cream that melts on your tongue. It’s all the things you love about ice cream without a bunch of added fat and calories, and just a sweet spoonful of chocolate makes it all come together in a dessert to satisfy your chocolate cravings.

Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

4 ripe bananas, cut into chunks
3 tablespoons chocolate hazelnut spread (like JIF Chocolate or Nutella)

Place bananas into a Hefty Slider Bag. Freeze until stiff. When ready to eat, add the frozen bananas and the chocolate spread to a food processor; pulse and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings.
