I love cooking and baking with my daughter these days. However, she is still a toddler so it is important that I take steps to be careful in the kitchen. I never have her near an open flame or handling sharp knives. I’ll teach her those skills when she’s older. In the mean time, I enjoy teaching her the basics of stirring, mixing and shaking. Monkey bread is great to make with her because she can participate in almost every step. As you’ll see, I cut the biscuit dough and then let her add it to the bag, shake it with the spices and press it into the bundt pan. It’s a fun kids cooking project that yields delicious results.
