It’s time for Super Bowl party preparations and revelers everywhere are wondering what time the Super Bowl starts. Kickoff is at 6:28pm EST, but the pregame show gets underway at 2pm EST. But my question is, when do we eat? The best Super Bowl foods are snacks and finger foods, but if you are planning on serving something more substantial, you may want to break that out during halftime (especially since no halftime show can ever compare to Prince in 2007. I actually cried). It all depends on what your favorite part of the Super Bowl is.
Either way, here are some of my favorite Super Bowl snacks to kick things off.
A Super Bowl Sunday classic–make sure to have plenty of this creamy, tangy, and spicy guacamole on hand.
Real Onion Dip
Trust me, there’s nothing like the real thing. After tasting this, you’ll never go back to the packet again.
Pinto Bean Dip
This is a light, healthy dip, with beans, lemon, and a hint of spice. A nice alternative to some of the heavier game day snacks.
Speaking of healthy, this caramel corn certainly isn’t. But it is sweet, gooey, and oh-so-delicious.
