What to Do With Leftover Thanksgiving Pie: Milkshakes

So, Thanksgiving has come and gone, and yet you still have leftover pie. Leftover pie can be tricky. Have you ever noticed that it seems to lose it’s pie-appeal after Day 2? Never fear. I have the perfect solution to your leftover Thanksgiving pie woes: milkshakes.

The people at Dairy Queen have the right idea. Pie belongs with ice cream, and pie chunks in ice cream become the perfect way to enjoy the day-after pies. Plus, I won’t tell if you maybe ate one of these milkshakes for lunch one day. Your secret is safe.

Leftover Pie Milkshakes

3-4 cups vanilla or cinnamon ice cream
1/4 cup milk
1 large or 2 smaller pieces of leftover Thanksgiving pie (approximately 1 cup)

In a blender, mix together ice cream and milk until smooth and creamy. Add in pie and blend just until mixed. Enjoy.

Makes 2-3 servings.
