Every year I search all of the grocery store ads to find the best deal on Butterball turkeys. This year, I found turkeys for just 88¢ a pound at Target. My local Target also has groceries, so I didn’t even have to travel to a super Target. Lots of Targets across the country are now offering fresh groceries, so be sure to check there first. Also be sure to get there early in the morning, Target employees told me that after they put the turkeys out early in the morning, they sell out for the day in just a couple of hours. Aldi’s and WalMart also have Butterball turkeys for just 99¢ a pound, which was also a great deal if you aren’t located conveniently to a Target store.
My family loves Butterball turkeys better than any other brand. It’s worth it to me to shop around to get the best deal for a quality turkey like the ones from Butterball. Don’t forget about Butterball’s turkey hot-line too. The Butterball Turkey Talk-Line lady is available to answer your Thanksgiving meal questions, share ways to save or to gobble up any turkey-day cooking myths. Their number is 1-800-BUTTERBALL.
