When my kids discovered popsicles they became hooked; hooked on processed sugar, food dyes and lord knows what else. Summer calls for frozen treats but not at my kids’ expense so I’m going with a healthy alternative: frozen yogurt with berries inside. Not too thrilling for a six year old? One 32 oz container organic yogurt (we like vanilla)
1 ½ cups of frozen berries (we use blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
6 popsicle molds (or more if you have them!)
Put one spoonful into the bottom of the mold, drop in some berries, then another spoon of yogurt, continue layering until just below the top. Place in the freezer for 4 hours. Now your kids can eat popsicles for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack!
