One of the coolest things I’ve made lately is this two ingredient York Peppermint Patty Sauce. It is literally two ingredients – York Peppermint Patties and cream, and makes the the BEST ice cream sauce ever. It was just as good as any kind of fancy peppermint hot fudge sauce, if not a little better. All it takes is stewing peppermint patties with cream on the stovetop until it turns into a minty, fudgy sauce. Then drizzle it over ice cream with a few remaining chunks of peppermint patties dropped on top. The perfect refreshing sauce in seconds!
York Peppermint Patty Sauce
2 large peppermint patty sauce
1/2 cup heavy cream
Break up the peppermint patties and set a few pieces aside. Add the rest to a small saucepan and pour in the cream. Heat over medium flame until the chocolate melts into the cream. Then remove it from the heat and drizzle it over the ice cream. Top with the set aside peppermint patty pieces.
