Back-to-School Guide to Healthy Eating (Infographic)

Did you know 2 out of 3 teenagers don’t eat fruits or veggies on a daily basis? And less than 30% of adults eat the recommended number of fruit and vegetable servings. Yikes!

The CDC says “Researchers have shown that students who eat healthy, well-balanced diets including plenty of fresh vegetables tend to perform better academically.”

So what can we do to give kids the best head start? This infographic from Sprout It on their Guide to Healthy Eating shares their method of upping our veggie intake, by making it easy, fun, and habit-forming.

Here are some ideas on fruit and veggie packed breakfasts for kids, as well as some fun lunch ideas that go beyond the sandwich.
