This year, hot topics brought some women — famous and not-so-famous — to the forefront of national discussions about health, wellness, body image, self-confidence, and the politics of shaming.
I worry that these articles give moms an unrealistic expectation of what the postpartum body looks like, how quickly we should be "bouncing back," and furthermore, that thats what our focus should be on.
Whether it be better quality food for all or valuing health over thinness, there's plenty this year to be happy about.
