Vanessa Bryant has apparently had enough. The mom of two is divorcing her husband of 10 ½ years, the Lakers basketball star Kobe Bryant.  She sited “irreconcilable differences.”

Vanessa has asked for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters, Natalia, agev8, and Gianna, age 5. In a statement the two asked, “that in the interest of our young children and in light of the upcoming holiday season the public respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

It’s always said when a couple breaks up, especially when there are young children involved, but reported Vanessa just had enough of his philandering ways. But who is Vanessa Bryant? How did the two meet, marry as stay together as long as they did?

    Kobe met Vanessa Laine (who was just 17-years-old at the time) while she was performing as a background dancer in the music video for G'd Up" by the Tha Eastsidaz. At the time Kobe was working on trying to put out an album so he had been spending time in the music scene.
