Think you know everything about Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, star of the reality-show sensation Here Comes Honey Boo Boo?

Or maybe you just know the basics: Sassy 7-year-old kiddie pageant princess, bingo-playing coupon-queen mom, mud-bogging dad, three stepsisters with quirky nicknames, redneck lifestyle.

Either way, you might just be surprised to find out that Honey Boo Boo isn’t all ‘sketti and glitz gowns. For instance, she’s a supporter of President Obama. And she’s hardly a spoiled TV brat, despite the toys and money being lavished on her by fans. Alana will be donating all her gifts to needy children this Christmas.

When fans expressed concern about the timing of Alana's Hollywood trip, Mama June replied via Facebook that her daughter's school is on fall break until next week. "We've turned down many appearances and interviews due to her being in school, & I don't want her missing school for stuff like that, so she's not out unless she's sick."
