10 Ways Madonna's Halftime Super Bowl Show Disappointed Viewers (Photos)Chris Rogers
Madonna may be dubbed The Queen of Pop (a name I remain to question as it rightfully belongs to Britney Spears), but her Super Bowl halftime show was anything but stellar.
Madonna, poised to attract every gay man who regularly does not watch the Super Bowl, performed several of her hits including ‘Vogue,’ ‘Like A Virgin,’ and her new single ‘Gimme All Your Luvin.’
Not only did the veteran performer lip-sync through the entire performance, but she didn’t show an ounce of skin! (Thanks, Janet Jackson.)
Take a look below at 10 reasons we were disappointed with Madonna’s halftime show!
Disappointment #1 1 of 10Madonna did not sing live.
Disappointment #2 2 of 10Madonna was dressed and covered from head to toe. We blame Janet Jackson.
Disappointment #3 3 of 10Madonna was moving pretty slowly throughout her performance. I understand she's 53-years-old, but isn't she Madonna?
Disappointment #4 4 of 10She wasn't Britney Spears. Britney hasnt' appeared in the halftime show since 2001. And she didn't even have her own song!
Disappointment #5 5 of 10There was no kiss. The last time Madonna performed with two other performers was the 2003 MTV VMAs when she kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
Disappointment #6 6 of 10She didn't sing her song "Jump," because that's all we wanted to do while watching this performance.
Disappointment #7 7 of 10Two words: Cee-Lo Green. Seriously? (Okay, maybe three words.)
Disappointment #8 8 of 10There were no "special" guest stars as announced. We already knew Nicki Minaj, LMFAO, and MIA would be present. Cee-Lo doesn't count. See the last photo.
Disappointment #9 9 of 10Her exit could have been cooler. Or sooner.
Disappointment #10 10 of 10She could have buried the hatcher with Lady Gaga and had her do a duet. Maybe next year?
