Losing baby weight has got to be one of the toughest struggles that any woman goes through in her entire life! I remember thinking that my pregnancy pounds would come off fairly quickly, and was kind of shocked when it took a whole nine months to get my pre-baby body back.
Celebrity moms are no strangers to feeling the pressure to get back into picture perfect shape as quickly as possible after giving birth. While we know in the back of our heads that most of them have a lot of help from personal chefs and trainers, we still can’t help but wonder what their secrets are for getting red carpet ready after having a child.
Amy Adams is one celebrity who didn’t let shedding post-pregnancy pounds get the best of her. She had such a great attitude about losing the weight and said:
“Being pregnant finally helped me understand what my true relationship was with my body—meaning that it wasn’t put on this earth to look good in a swimsuit. I’ve been working out when I can, and I’m trying to eat in a healthful way, but losing weight is not my number-one priority. It’s part of my job to return to some semblance of what I was before. But I don’t feel I’ve ever made my career on my rockin’ bod.”
