AMC Theatres is having an 2011 Oscar movie marathon on February 19 and February 26. The chain will show all 10 of the movies nominated for Best Picture 2011 Oscar over a two-day period at select locations all over the country.
Have you seen any of the movies nominated for the 2011 Oscars? If you haven’t, the AMC Theatres Oscar movie marathon is a great way to see all 10 of the movies nominated for Best Picture 2011 Oscar over a two-day period.
Tickets are on sale now for the AMC Best Picture Showcase and the event is very popular with movie junkies! The 10 movies nominated for Best Picture will be shown on Saturday, Feb. 19 and Saturday, Feb. 26 at more than 113 theatres in 43 markets.
In 15 of those theatres in 13 markets, AMC will host a 24-hour movie marathon where guests can watch all 10 movies in one sitting. Since most of us can barely get away for ONE movie (much less 10 in one day), the 24-hour movie fest is probably out of reach but I wanted to include the information.
The 2011 Oscar nominees are: BLACK SWAN, THE FIGHTER, INCEPTION, THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT, THE KING’S SPEECH, 127 HOURS, THE SOCIAL NETWORK, TOY STORY 3, TRUE GRIT and WINTER’S BONE.
AMC Best Picture Showcase Pricing and details can be found on the AMC website at http://www.amctheatres.com/BPS. In case you are on the fence about the marathon, here’s a bonus:
All guests will also receive a free, special theatre-sized AMC Best Picture Showcase poster that features artwork from all 10 nominees (while supplies last). This poster was specially designed for this event and will not be available at any other time. Additionally, guests will receive a keepsake lanyard, which serves as the pass for the AMC Best Picture Showcase.
You’re a sucker for keepsake lanyards right?
