4 Reasons Why Heidi & Spencer Would Fake Their Breakup

How bummed are Heidi Montag’s parents right about now? They’re going to have to try to shove the cork back in the champagne bottle and take down the “Congratulations on Your Break-Up” banners. It looks like, as many people have speculated, that their break up was actually just a business move. An insider said  abou the Hills stars that, “Heidi and Spencer are laughing over it and having a blast,” and that “This breakup is the latest part of Spencer’s master plan.”  So why would this be part of the “plan?” Here are four reasons why they’d pretend there is trouble in paradise.

Holding on to Their 15 Minutes:
The couple needed some kind of angle to stay relevant and to keep their names in the news.  As we know, at least those who follow Speidi, that they won’t be having a kid anytime soon. So what makes sense? A random breakup of course!

Their Next Show:
There is talk that they won’t be returning to the Hills but of course these fame hungry reality stars are working on their next venture. A reality show about Heidi moving in with her pal Jen Bunney and about “their friendship and their relationship with men.” And of course Heidi’s struggle with her “break up” with Spencer.

Breaking the Slave/Master Image

Spencer has become such a polarizing figure, with depictions of his crazy and controlling nature.  He has become totally unrelatable and unsympathetic. And Heidi comes off as a kept woman. It’s a relationship that become more frightening than fun to watch. Something that is probably has become a concern for their media hungry celebs. The break-up is perhaps a way to swing that pendulum back, will it turn into a redemption story?

And last but not least…Money:
There are rumors that Spencer Pratt is broke. Super duper broke. They are saying that he’s spent most of his cash and is now living on credit.  A source told Radaronline that the reasons for their lack of cash is, “Pratt’s half a million dollar energy crystal habit” to Heidi “spending thousands of dollars on in designer clothes and handbags.”
