5 Songs We Hope The Spice Girls Sing At The Olympics Closing Ceremony (Photos)

The Spice Girls

There is no doubt that you are probably as sad as I am about the end of this years’ Summer Olympics. We have had so many wonderful highlights from the games this year including Team USA’s women’s gymnastics team (and our new favorite sweetheart Gabby Douglas), all those buff boys swimming for gold at the Aquatic Center and the number of celebrity moms and dads that have been at the games this year cheering on our top athletes in red, white, and blue. It has been a fun two weeks for everyone who has tuned in to the games for sure.

Well, thankfully we have the Spice Girls at Sunday night’s closing ceremony to cheer us all up. With the numerous hits that they’ve produced over the years, I know they won’t be able to play all of their greatest ones, but I sure as heck hope that they play my favorite five. Check out our photo gallery and videos of the songs we hope David Beckham is going to be caught lip synching to backstage while we all jump around with our kids to “Wannabe” in our living rooms. I soooo want to see these happen!

  • Wannabe 1 of 5
The song that has started it ALL! I was about 16 when this song came out and totally bought the blue Adidas pants that Mel C wore in this video. I SOOO want to see a shot of David Beckham lip synching to this song in the stands! LOL

Yes, yes and yes! This would be the best feel-good song to end the Olympics Ceremony, right? I mean, they can't go wrong with this hit here.
  • Viva Forever 3 of 5
    Viva Forever
This one would be a good one to start their set on. It's soft, the music is great and boy does it bring me back to 1997 in a very good way.
  • Holler 4 of 5
I'd like to see Victoria strut her stuff to this one. :-)
  • Stop 5 of 5
This is a great jumpy tune. It would bring everyone to their feet! (And has anyone else noticed how much Romeo looks so much like his mom Victoria over here??).
