6 Celebrity Marriages That Will Last - According to a Scientific Formula That Is!Sunny Chanel
While many in the gossip business like to focus on what celebrity marriages are on the brink of disaster, but how about those marriages that are destined to last?
The New York Times’ John Tierney along with Garth Sundem created a scientific formula to confront “one of the great unsolved mysteries in social science: Exactly how soon will a given celebrity marriage blow.” But in doing so in contrast they also looked at celebrity marriages who have the odds in the favor of lasting past the 15 year mark.
Check out these six marriages that the numbers say will last (and while you’re at it, check out which ten marriages are doomed right here).
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart 1 of 664% - Odds They'll Be Together for More than 15 Years
One of the couples who have the best probabilities of staying together? Ally McBeal and Hans Solo...I mean Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford. The two hooked up later in life (he was 67 and she was 45) and seem low-key and in love.
Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham 2 of 664% - Odds They'll Be Together for More than 15 Years
Also up there in the "yeah, they'll make it list" is Marky Mark and his ex-model wife Rhea. The two have four children together and were spotted just last week being all lovey dovey, so they seem like a pairing that will last.
Beyonce and Jay Z 3 of 655% - Odds They'll Be Together for More than 15 Years
Beyonce's sexy image counts against them, but their long courtship (about six years) and Jay Z's age when they got married (38) gave them some bonus points.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie 4 of 651% - Odds They'll Be Together for More than 15 Years
They may not have a piece of paper stating that they are husband and wife but everything else (like 6 kids) does. Their odds - even both are sex symbols and there is always gossip about their demise - are still in their favor.
Cash Warren and Jessica Alba 5 of 636% - Odds They'll Be Together for More than 15 Years
The odds may not sound like much - at 35% - but it's better than most!
Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie 6 of 636% - Odds They'll Be Together for More than 15 Years
Also coming in at 36% are new parents Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie, and seeing that they have a new baby, let's hope these are the odds if not better!
